Centre Operations Manager

Chris is currently employed as the Centre Operations Manager with Sigma and is responsible for the line management of a group of tutors that deliver a range of qualifications within the Sigma group.

Chris is a teaching and development professional within the work-based learning environment with over 20 years’ experience including Motor Vehicle Engineering and delivery of training programmes.  He has been part of the delivery team for Apprenticeship frameworks within the military sector both in the delivery and assessment sectors.  Chris holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status which he gained after qualifying for DTLLS as well as been an Assessor and IQA specialising in the Initial Teacher Training field.

Chris is responsible for ensuring that the operational functions of the centres and classroom activities optimise learning and meet the awarding bodies set standards
